Since 1997, Dr. Samya Nasr, Professor of Pediatrics and Pediatric Pulmonologist at University of Michigan Health, has worked to raise awareness of cystic fibrosis in Egypt, leading global efforts to improve diagnosis and understanding.

To witness the realities firsthand, Laura Bonnell, CEO of The Bonnell Foundation: Living with Cystic Fibrosis, traveled to Egypt to see the challenges CF families face beyond U.S. borders.
