CF Task Force wants to address:
- Affordable Care Act
- Insurance companies refusing to cover AS Directed medications (maybe get other disease groups to join us to address this issue so our voices are louder together)
- Resolution for the month of May (Bonnell Foundation working on)
- Come up with a hash tag: #CFTaskForceMI
- Packet of Information to give to families when they are first diagnosed
- Ambassador program
- Advocacy for adults
- Educational briefing on the Hill and with pharmacies- CF Engagement Network will work on (Emily S. and Laura B.)
- Medicaid time frame in which they get refills to people
- Transitioning from college
- Can’t get life insurance (why can cancer patients get it and CF people can’t)
