DESCRIPTION:Margaret Carmona was a Cystic Fibrosis patient dedicated to assisting others. She served the Metro-Detroit chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation raising money to help in the battle against CF. For the Love of Marge was Margie’s idea to gather with friends and family in a wedding type environment and raise funds to help others. Margie lost her battle to the disease in 2006 but her dream now lives on with this family fun event that helps to warm the winter months. Started in 2007\, this event showcases Margie’s spirit of love and friendship as we gather to have fun\, enjoy each other’s company and raise funds for The Bonnell Foundation. The Bonnell Foundation continues to expand its outreach to Cystic Fibrosis families by doubling the number of Margaret Carmona academic scholarships\, continuing its generous support of The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and dramatically increasing its Angel Fund which covers basic needs often not covered by other services. As we grow so does our ability to touch lives and families nationwide. We couldn’t do it without your help\, thank you. Please join us in celebrating.
